Nigel Bahadur "Make It Possible" Scholarship
This scholarship is in honor of Nigel Bahadur, an angel in our community who passed away this past year. We value how he chose to check in on those around him and to include folks. And how he made coming together in community possible. Nigel helped many dancers get to events who couldn't otherwise afford it. He also bailed out many an organizer when the numbers just wouldn’t add up.
We offer these scholarships to acknowledge and honor the individuals who help make our Blues communities possible. These folks have shown a commitment to building community, making community more accessible or inclusive, building relationships with musicians, and/or inspiring others to learn, teach, DJ, or dance. Our goal is to provide access to community, inspiration, and continued learning at Mile High Blues to individuals who dedicate their time and energy to this community who might not otherwise have the resources to attend our event.
