Mile High Blues is an annual event run by Mile High Blues Organization, a 501(c)3 registered nonprofit. 

History

The Mile High Blues event began as Blues Summit in 2008. We obtained non-profit status in 2024 to continue to provide access to quality Blues dance education. 

Purpose and Mission

​To create a symposium celebrating live Blues music where all guests may enjoy a culturally respectful and compassionate environment during which musical performances, dances, instructional classes, discussion forums, and other forms of education will be held, and to support Blues including those who are influential in its existence and evolution, with emphasis on BIPOC folks with ancestral ties to Blues during which influentials identified will be honored and celebrated.
