Scot Mattson

Scot Mattson

Scot got his first taste of Blues back in the "early" days, when it was primarily relegated to house parties and the back room of Lindy exchange late nights. He enjoys attempting to DJ while organizing and throwing a big weekend-long party, even if that does result in him being a little crazy and sleep-deprived throughout. His DJing philosophy is to play good music, because bad music sucks.

Emily Smith

Emily Smith

Emily started DJing when she moved to Seattle 5 years ago. She was invited to be one of the first DJs at Burn Blue, the weekly blues venue in Seattle. The first event she ever attended was the Phoenix Lindy Exchange in 2004. There, she was introduced to blues and was hooked! She loves blues music and enjoys the amount of variety within the genre. She likes to play everything from fast jump blues to slow, passionate blues.

Sherri Griggs

Sherri Griggs

Sherri has been dancing for 24 years, starting with ballet and developing into just about every style, and has been swing dancing for 9 years. This past year she started the first weekly blues venue in Salt Lake City at her own home, affectionately tagged as "Sherri's House of Blues". Through the inspiration of other local DJs, she was able to start her collection of blues music. Sherri prefers the sultry, groovy, drag style of blues. Her collection ranges from classic to modern, deep south to electronic, and all sorts of groove. There's nothing like a good blues song to make you want to move!

Andrew Jaswa

Andrew Jaswa

Andrew got his start DJing at weekly dances in Virginia Beach. While in Virginia he helped get Dirt Cheap Blues Exchange going, but then moved to Denver in 2008. Since then he has DJed at most of the local venues like The Merc, The Blues Room and The Turnverein to name a few. He likes DJing for the people, keeping the flow and feet and bodies moving.

Bryan Spellman

Bryan Spellman

Bryan, a clinically diagnosed dancing addict, started DJing as one of many outlets to spread his love for Blues. He has been spinning for dancers from coast to coast, from Virginia Beach to Denver, from Austin to Los Angeles His sets are guided by the mood and desires of the dancers, ranging from the slow and sultry to the exciting and energetic. His goal is to keep you from resting your tush, because the music won't let you sit down. He plays songs that will make you want to move. In his spare time, Bryan holds a "day" job, travels around the country, and has as much fun as possible. Bryan recently married (sorry ladies!) and is making his new home in Denver.

Adin DJs regularly at local as well as a number of Denver venues. Many times he can be found DJing great blues house parties. Music has always been a passion for Adin and as a DJ he loves nothing more that to find songs that inspire people to dance.
